Spectacular Wedding
Challenge: To provide a truly magical environment for a spectacular wedding, the likes of which the guests had never seen before.

Working with a top London Caterer and equally well respected florist, Complete Events were very conscious from the onset of the importance of the design aspect of this event. This was to be no 'run of the mill' marquee, and no 'standard' celebration.
With the main body of the marquee 25m wide, 40m long, divided into numerous areas and with many peripheral structures (please see CAD Plan below), this was an imposing and impressive venue for any event, and especially so for a wedding. The key of course was not to lose atmosphere in such a cavernous structure. As you can see from the pictures the result was quite spectacular.
The client, Complete Events and other contractors remained extremely close to each other throughout the preparation period. We attended many dining room meetings (including a lighting display 'walk-through' on notebook computer to show how the interior of the marquee would be lit at various stages of the evening) and in all wrote over 40 letters & items of communication, to ensure that every detail was attended to and no stone was left unturned. When an event is as important to the client as this was, there is quite simply no room for error.
Requiring hundreds of metres of trackway just in order to get access to the field to build the marquee complex, this was quite a project, but one which Complete Events managed without fuss, on time and within budget!
The complex itself incorporated a 50m covered walkway from a Drop Off marquee, down which guests walked towards the main marquee, looking over wonderfully lit grounds on their way. As they entered Reception they were struck by the size of the marquee interior, the stunning bespoke hand-painted dancefloor, and the luxurious colour schemes, décor and furnishings. This was going to be an event to remember.
As a false wall was removed to reveal the stunningly decorated dining interior, amazed guests were invited out of the reception area. Whilst dining, unbeknown to guests, we completely removed the interior lining of the vast reception area to reveal fantastic Nightsky above, the perfect backdrop for an excellent Nightclub dancing area.
After dinner, guests really let their hair down to the band and disco. The large dancefloor was busy from start to finish.
At a given point during the evening, all guests were invited out onto a 25m x 5m astroturfed Balcony Area, an open fronted marquee viewing platform, to watch a truly stunning firework display set to rousing classical music. Guests were seen crying at that 'magical ten minutes'.
There can be very few events that Complete Events have been involved in that has left guests more moved. A genuinely wonderful time was had by all.
