We continue to appreciate
the increasingly varied requirements of our customers for the look
and feel of their wedding marquee interior. With this in mind we are
constantly expanding and developing the range of looks and interiors
we are able to offer.
Our most popular looks include:
'Classic' Simple, elegant, unfussy. Usually with a matted floor and plain pleated linings, occasionally with a 'splash' of colour in the form of roof overlays or pelmets in-keeping with a particular colour scheme. Plain ivory or white linen complimenting uncomplicated table lay-ups. Chandelier lighting. Simple but beautiful flowers. Stylish but not over-stated furniture (i.e. gilt banqueting chairs). |
'Lavish' Rich colours (deep reds, purples etc). A solid flooring system with carpet. Nightsky (Starcloth) linings overhead. Individual lights onto table centres and other features. Grand floral displays (with their own lighting). Luxurious table lay-ups, and wonderful furniture (Chiavari chairs, 6' round tables or refectory style). |
'Minimalist' Almost exclusively ivory throughout, or another neutral colour. This style tends to focus the mind upon the guests of honour and the days activities rather than the environment in which they are in. Always popular. |
'Pretty' Extensive use of colours, flowers etc to make the marquee a 'dream' venue. Pink is a popular colour, being incorporated into linen, linings, flowers, cake etc. Often tables have garlands, especially the cake table. |
'Winter' Quite similar to 'Lavish' in that a solid floor is a must. Deep colours give the impression of warmth (burgundies, reds, oranges etc) whilst marquee heater units actually do the job. Christmas trees are a reasonably cheap and extremely effective decoration, especially with fairy lights. Atmospheric lighting, using colours where appropriate, again helps with the impression of warmth. |
'Magical' Nightsky linings are very popular throughout the marquee for weddings of late, i.e. not just over the dance floor. The 'Magical' look incorporates many features of the Lavish and the Winter look, especially careful use of decoration. However, this decoration does not have to be extortionately expensive - t-light candles for example offer fantastic atmosphere and value. Much use is made of clever and atmospheric lighting. |
'Contemporary' Often employs use of strong silvers and other metallic colours and effects. Modern feature lighting. Often chrome furnishings (bars etc) and aluminium banqueting chairs. Modern floral displays and table lay-ups. Bespoke linings can be made in whatever colour and finish required. |
We appreciate that it can be a lengthy process putting together a particular look and feel for a wedding marquee,
so we offer our customers (who are often very busy themselves) the benefit of our experience and extensive database of ideas and suppliers.
Consequently this lengthy process can be dramatically shortened, and ultimately every detail attended to, helping to make your wedding as special as it is meant to be.
Contact us, whether you have fixed ideas or not - we know the questions to ask and we hope to have the answers to your questions!
