Children's Parties
The traditional child's party, a handful of the his/her friends playing some games in the living room, was once just about the only option. Times have changed, and now many parents are taking a much broader view on hosting parties for their children.
In Marquees
We often say that if the children are happy then their parents will by definition be content. Marquees are ideal venues for children's parties whether they are run in conjunction with adult parties (where the Children's area can be screened off) or whether they are the sole event, where their very outdoor nature enables a huge range of both indoor and outdoor entertainment to be arranged without fear of disruption from wet weather.
Some Tips
Involve children in the decision making (unless it is a surprise party!) so that, quite simply, they get what they want! Build your party around a particular theme or entertainment style (magician, Punch & Judy, Pokemon, Harry Potter). This will help create a party atmosphere as well as help plan the schedule/format, and provided that there is adequate food and drink, add party bags at the end.
Crèche
Mobile Crèche facilities of the highest reliability and professionalism are becoming more and more popular at events, especially weddings. We often section off an area of the marquee so that children-orientated entertainment can be isolated from the main event. This enables childminding staff to manage their area and a group of children more effectively and safely.

Dining and Dancing
Children love their food, and the fun they can have when seated around a table is no different than that of adults. As we all know, playing at being adults has a great appeal to them. It is important of course that furniture is correctly sized and that the children are safe and comfortable. Care must be taken to ensure that their dining area is not too cavernous, and is heated properly in Winter.
Dancefloors and lighting effects need be no different than for adult parties - the more grown-up it is the more appealing to children. Karaoke or other musical entertainment that children can participate in is extremely popular.
