Charity & Celebrity Events
Different Issues
In the time that Complete Events have been trading we have worked
at many events where there have been more demands made of us than that of a 'typical' party. These occasions often involve celebrities, VVIPs etc and/or have a charity fund raising aspect to them.
This page is not about the events themselves - the range is too vast, and incorporate so much of many of the other event styles covered on this site. Instead it touches on our understanding of some of the particular issues unique to these events.
Security
Plainly these occasions have a significantly greater need for a raised level of security
Positive Vetting: Complete Events are aware of the requirements of some clients who need to be sure of the calibre and integrity of our staff at specific venues and for particular functions.
Antiterrorist: We are also familiar with the practice of sniffer dogs searching our marquees prior to our events, to ensure the site is 'clear' in respect of explosives etc
Photography
We also have experience of working with security personnel at events where photography is prohibited or restricted, and the confidentiality of those attending the event is paramount.
Press/Media
Extensive consultation and planning with the relevant personnel is required in managing press and media at high profile events.
This is important in ensuring the right quantity and quality of facilities is available for them - shelter, refreshments, toilets etc. It is also vital that the clients' PR or Image Consultants are available if appropriate for briefings if the maximum benefit is to be achieved for a particular charity or celebrity.
