Bar & Bat Mitzvahs
Complete Events have been involved with Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations for over 10 years. As with any good celebratory event we are keenly aware of the need for meticulous planning and attention to detail. This is necessary to ensure that every part of the schedule has been attended to, and also in making your guests feel that this intensely personal and intimate, yet actively shared celebration has been shown the respect it deserves.
Schedule
Given its core nature to the celebration, the schedule for the event is worked on very early in the planning stages, and we design the marquee around it.
Our event planners always work closely with their clients to get a clearer understanding of the exact feel and style of the celebration, personal to their family. Whilst there are naturally traditional parts to the event format, individual tastes differ and require equally individual attention.
Layout
Layout is obviously critically important - there must be enough space for guests to access the dancefloor between courses, is a false wall required for the Bar / Bat Mitzvah to appear from at the given moment?, is there enough room for all guests to see the Bar / Bat Mitzvah as he/she enters?
Marquees are ideal for rigging lighting effects etc, often so important for making the entrance dramatic.
Catering
As with all events Complete Events works alongside and in partnership with the caterer. This is especially important in delivering traditionally thorough and precise schedules.
This can involve a site meeting with the caterer and our client to run through the schedule and ensure that all the caterer's requirements regarding space, power requirements etc have been met.

Entertainment
Entertainment at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs has to satisfy a wide spectrum of age profiles. The secret is to make sure there is something for everyone, providing music with a wide 'family' appeal, and entertainers that know the environment and expectations. The latter, like walkabout magicians are extremely popular, as they can be equally well received by an eight year old guest as an eighty year old!
We do not claim to be the world's greatest experts on this particular event - as with all specialist celebrations we are constantly learning, and actively enjoy taking the time to get the detail right.
